Get Payroll Right in 2026
Payday Super, from 1 July 2026
Super every payday, received by the fund within 7 business days. The 12% rate, qualifying earnings, and the super guarantee charge if you are late.
The new minimum wage
$26.44 per hour from the first full July pay period, $33.05 for casuals, and the 4.75% award increase. How to apply it to the right classification.
PAYG and STP
Withhold the right PAYG, report through Single Touch Payroll each pay run, and finalise by 14 July so employees can lodge.
Records and the traps
Payslips within one working day, seven years of records, and why misclassifying an employee as a contractor is an expensive mistake.
