Get Payroll Right in 2026

Payday Super, from 1 July 2026

Super every payday, received by the fund within 7 business days. The 12% rate, qualifying earnings, and the super guarantee charge if you are late.

The new minimum wage

$26.44 per hour from the first full July pay period, $33.05 for casuals, and the 4.75% award increase. How to apply it to the right classification.

PAYG and STP

Withhold the right PAYG, report through Single Touch Payroll each pay run, and finalise by 14 July so employees can lodge.

Records and the traps

Payslips within one working day, seven years of records, and why misclassifying an employee as a contractor is an expensive mistake.

Before You Download

Is the guide really free?
Yes, completely free. Enter your name and email and we send the download link straight to your inbox. No credit card, no catch.
What format is it?
A downloadable PDF you can print, save, or hand to whoever runs your payroll. It covers Payday Super, the new minimum wage, PAYG, STP and record-keeping.
What is Payday Super and when does it start?
From 1 July 2026, employers must pay super guarantee at the same time as salary and wages, not quarterly. Super counts as on time only if the fund receives it within 7 business days of payday. The guide walks through what that means for your process.
Will you spam me after I download it?
No. You will receive the download email plus a short series of practical payroll and tax tips. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe and we never share your details.
