Ascend Solutions provides cloud bookkeeping, payroll, BAS agent, software advisory, business process optimisation and virtual CFO services. Our services are provided on the basis of a separate engagement letter or service agreement, which will specify the scope, fees and terms particular to your engagement.

3. Professional Obligations
Our services are provided in accordance with the requirements of:
- CPA Australia's Code of Professional Conduct
- The Tax Agent Services Act 2009 (TASA) and the Code of Professional Conduct for Tax Agents
- The Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) guidelines
- Relevant Australian Taxation Office (ATO) requirements
4. Service Engagements
All bookkeeping, payroll, BAS and advisory engagements are subject to a formal engagement letter. This letter will set out:
- The scope of services to be performed
- Your responsibilities (e.g., providing complete and accurate source documents)
- Our responsibilities and limitations
- Fees, payment terms and billing frequency
- Confidentiality obligations
- Termination provisions
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and your engagement letter, the engagement letter will prevail.
5. Fees and Payment
Our fees are quoted on a fixed-fee basis unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment terms are set out in your engagement letter, and typically invoices are due within 14 days of issue.
We reserve the right to suspend services in the event of overdue payment, after providing reasonable notice.
6. Client Responsibilities
To enable us to provide our services effectively, you agree to:
- Provide complete, accurate and timely financial records and source documents
- Respond to our requests for information within a reasonable timeframe
- Inform us of any changes to your business structure, ownership or circumstances
- Ensure authorised access to relevant software platforms (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB)
- Review and approve work product (e.g., BAS returns, financial reports) before lodgement or submission
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, design elements, code and downloadable resources — is owned by or licensed to Ascend Solutions Pty Ltd and is protected by Australian copyright law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or republish any content without our prior written consent. Free downloadable resources (lead magnets) are provided for your personal business use only and may not be redistributed.
